An explosive and gripping thriller about ambition and betrayal, Middletown is the powerful tale of two brothers battling for the heart and soul of their homeland.

Sent from his father and brother as a child to embrace the teaching of the church, Gabriel returns to his home of Middletown in order to take over as the community's spiritualleader.

However upon his return he finds his estranged hometown in dark disrepair, its citizens having embraced vice and sin; indulging in gambling, cruelty and lust.

Outraged at the moral decay and lack ofreligious dedication Gabriel takes it upon himself to deliver Middletown from it own damnation.

But Gabriel's intentions mask a dark and malevolent heart and with religious zeal he pits neighbour against neighbour with Machiavellian intent.

Even Gabriel's own family are not free from attack as his brother Jim and his pregnant wife Caroline's indiscretions fall beneath the shadow of Gabriel's all-seeing wrath.
